Page 4 of the interactive Global Survey

on People Migration!

This is page 4, and the last page for now, of the people migration study aimed at ascertaining if people move home between National census intervals and why. The earlier pages displayed the preliminary data and on this page are the data that summarise respondents occupations. Thank you to all of you who have donated information! If you have yet to take part in this survey using your own life experiences and have been uncertain about the outcome, it is hoped this page is reassuring to you. As more data points are collected the information becomes more meaningful. With 100% of the respondents submitting data from a Family History Web Site, the age spread of respondents ensures that 75% of the respondents have lived long enough to participate in two censuses or more. Finally some 46% of all respondents to date are over fifty years confirming that the Internet is for all ages!

Preliminary Results. 21 April, 2008

The next chart (chart 6) is an analysis of the employment and professions of the respondents. Eighty-two percent of respondents pursue an occupation, though over 50% of the male respondents indicated they were retired whilst only 22% of females elected to indicate retirement, perhaps a sign that a woman's work is never done! Of the males a higher percentage 33% were engaged in Sales & Marketing and female respondents are predominant in the academic fields.
