The emblem of the new Regiment was
devised by the union of the insignia borne by the 100th and 109th Regiments, the former contributing the Prince of Wales plume & maple
leaves while the 109th brought the laurel wreath & the honour Central India.
The following is a list of the officers who were serving with the 109th when the Leinster Regiment came into being.
